Alloy Powders

Pure iron powders
Different grades of pure iron produced by atomization or reduction. These powders create the basis for most powder mixes for production of low alloyed sintered steels. The majority consists of more than 90 % of pure iron powders.

Low alloyed steel
Materials for structural parts – components – in sintered steel ranging from pure iron to low alloyed steels. From medium to high strength materials. Typical alloying elements are Mo, Ni, Cr or Mn.

Stainless steel
Stainless powders for component production. Powders from the 300- and 400-series as well as some special grades are available. Other grades can be made to specification.

Wear resistance materials
Materials for high hardness and wear components. Various steel powders with C, Cr, V, Mo and W contents for mixing with iron powders for manufacturing of e.g. valve seat inserts via pressing, sintering, infiltration with Cu and hardening.
